SENT TO JAIL FOR 10 DAYS FOR NON-SUPPORT
Maurice A. Arbour, 29, of 3 Bridle Path, appearing in Hillsborough County Superior Court here yesterday on a .. for contempt in action broughtby Bernice Arbour, was ordered committedto the County jail for 10 daysfollowing ahearing before Justice William A. Grimes. Arbour was given a 10-day sentence and was further ordered to pay $150 and costs of $1 on or before 23 Nov 1953, or be committed to the County jail until all arrerage is paid or until further .. these payments to be in addition toregular payments. Arbour was charged by the probation department with contempt of court by his failure to comply to an order to support his minor child. He was found to be $560 inarrears. The matter was presentedto the court by Clarence O'Connor, probation officer.
