  ARBOUR -- Louis P. Arbour, 58, of 4365 Rapallo Rd, died suddenly Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Arbour was a native of Bonaventure, Quebec, Canada, and had lived in Jacksonville for 10 years, coming here from Somerset, MA. Mr. Arbour was Assistant Manager of Lowe Brothers Paint Co, with whom he had been associated for the past three years. He was a member of the Catholic Church, the Retired Officers' Association, andwas a retired Chief Warrant Officer, United States Army. Survivors include his wifeMrs. Gertrude Arbour of Jacksonville, a daughter, Miss Francine Arbour, a student atLouisiana State University, a son, Richard Arbour, Philadelphia, PA; two sisters, Mrs. Concord Ferland and Mrs. Beatrice Parrott, both of Somerset, MA; and a brother, Roland Arbour, Springfield, MA. Funeral Mass will be celebratedat 10:30 amMonday in St Matthew's Catholic Church. Interment will be in Jacksonville Memorial Gardens. The rosary will be recited at 8 pm Sunday in the Chapel of Hardage and Sons Blanding Blvd Funeral Home, 5753 Blanding Blvd.

Ms. Croxson was a graduate of the University of New Orleans, and was a retired Social Worker for the State of Louisiana (Algiers office). She was atrue advocatefor low income families and their housing needs, and worked diligently to that end. In addition to being a world traveler,she was a true pioneer in the historic preservation of Algiers Point, buying and restoring historic homesin the mid 1980s longbefore it became popular.
