From granddaughter Linda on 15 Jun 2004: Starting search, I have Cert. of Birth for Blanche Aldea ARBOUR b. March 13, 1903 in Sprague, CT, father Leon ARBOUR, 25 yr at the time of birth, and mother Sophranie BERTRAND, 20 yr at the time of Blanche's birth. Sophranie was born in Willimantic, CT and Leon is listed only as CANADA. They both actually lived in Baltic, CT. Sophronieis listed as having 2 other children. Blanche was known as Aldea. Shewas my Paternal Grandmother and married William J. VandeWall also Vanderwall/Vandewaille or Vanderaille (handwritten documents) in a copy that states on the 8th of March 1943, that the couple were married in Holyoke, MA, on Nov.17, 1919.
