TROINI, Gertrude (nee Arbour) 1937 - 2012
After a long and fearless battle with cancer, Gerty passed on the way she lived: with love, gratitude, peace and dignity. She enjoyed her 75 years of life and became an accomplished and fulfilled woman. She is predeceased by her husband Doctor RudyTroini and her daughter Mary. She leaves to mourn her sisters; Joan (Leon), Theresa (Bob), Kathleen (John), Cecile (Tony), her brother Herman, her brother-in-law Peter (Mary Jane),her cousin Richard Troini, several nieces and nephews and cherishedfriends. She will be sadly and deeply missed by all who knew her. She is grateful to her oncologist, of many years, Doctor Horace Laryea, the medical professionals at the Lakeshore General Hospital and the West Island Palliative Care Residence forthe excellent care she received. Thefamily will receive condolences on Saturday, 29 September 2012 from 10:30 am to 11:00 am followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 am in the Chapelof the Resurrection at the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery, 4601 cheminde la Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal.
