    An 80-year old Sudbury resident, Jean Arbour died today in his home following a short illness. Previously he had lived in Sturgeon Falls and Cooper Cliff. He married the former Louise Nicholas 12 years ago and is survived by four sons, Ernest of Ottawa, Joseph and Paul of Bruce Mines, Andre of Azilda; four daughters, Mrs. J. Bondarenko of Bruce Mines, Mrs. J. Descoteaux of Espanola, Mrs.A. Patry of Whitefish, and Mrs. D. Constantineau of Sudbury; 28 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Mr. Arbour was born at Cap Perce, Quebec. In the city, he attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church. Funeral arrangements are yet to be completed by Co-Operative Funeral Home. The body is at the family home.

    ARBOUR, Paul -- Beloved husband of Julia (nee Rivest) Arbour of Rexdale, passed away on Thursday, 29 July 1999, at the age of 78 years. Paul also leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Pauline (Cameron) Vacheresse, Roger (Joanne) Arbour, Carol(Mike) Cooper, and Geri (Al) Huff; 11 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. He was predeceased by 2 sons,Gerald in 1958 andJohn in 1997,and 1 grandson, Paul in 1986. Resting at the Newediuk Funeral Home, Kipling Chapel, 2104 Kipling Ave.(north ofRexdale Blvd) from Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Saturday, leaving the funeral home 8:45 am to St Benedict's Church,2194 Kipling Ave., for Funeral Mass at 9:15 am. Graveside service at StJoachim Cemetery, Windsor, Ontario, Saturday 3 pm. Paul was adiligent, hardworking husband andfather who will be especially remembered by those who knew him for hisvarious multi talents in the mechanics field; his ability to fix, repair, and/or build and revise different projects of all types; and his willingness and kindness shown to all by sharing, lending, and teaching his knowledge to those around him.He will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his family and friends.

    In loving memory of Andre-Edgar Arbour, 73 years, after a tough battle with cancer, Thursday morning, 21 August 1997, at his residence in Chelmsford, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Victoria Mines,ON, and in 1945, he married Madeleine (nee Parent) in Windsor. He was a miner at INCO Ltd for 25 years, retiring in 1976 due to his failing health. He was a Roman Catholic member of St Joseph's Church in Chelmsford and a member of the INCO Quarter Century Club. Andre was a great lover of cars and was very proud of every "Ford" product that he owned. Hewas a devoted husband and father and enjoyed being surrounded by his grandchildren and great-granddaughters. He leaves a rich legacy of love and will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Beloved husband of Madeleine (nee Parent) Arbour of Chelmsford. Loving father of Patricia (husband Joseph Svab) of Windsor, Lucille (husband Dan Sweeny) of Sudbury, and Marcel (wife Anna) of Windsor. Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren: Christina, Andrew (wife Francine), Tommy (predeceased), Jennifer, Krysten, Darian, Angie, Samantha, and great-granddaughters Melina and Mackenzie. Son of Jean and Delina (StJean) Arbour, both predeceased. Dear brother of Florida Patry of New Market, Paul (wife Julia)of Rexdale, Eveline (husband David Constantineau) ofSudbury, and predeceased by Alma Bondarenko, Ernest, Joseph, and Clara Descoteaux. Also survived by many brothers- and sisters-in-law in Windsor and the surrounding area. Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent St. Funeral Mass in StJoseph's Church, Errington St, Chelmsford, Monday, 25 August 1997, at 11:00 am. Interment in the Chelmsford Cemetery. Donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be appreciated.

    To the family of Delina Fortin: I worked with Delina for several years.She was in charge of preparing my expense report (and making sureI gotmy cheques!) I always knewwhere I stood with Delina. She gave me heck if I lost an invoice and told me in no uncertain terms how I could improve my accuracy and timliness! Delina hada great sense of humour and always made me laugh. Shespoke to me with great affection abouther family. Even though I worked in Toronto and she in Ottawa, we had fun on our frequent phone calls and I always looked forward to seeing her when I was in Ottawa.     ARBOUR, Edward (Ted) -- Peacefully at home with his loving family at his side. He was the loving husband and soul mate of 39 years to Beryl. Ed is predeceased byhis father, mother, and brother Albert. He will be sadly missed by his children Kelly (Mark), Charlene (Chris), and Darren (Lori). He also was the bestest papa to Kristie, Mathew, Joshua, Stephanie, Austin, and Gavin. He will be fondly remembered by his brothers with whom he worked with for many years at Allied Systems formerly Roadway Transport and his new friends at C.P. Systems. Ed is survived by his big brother Joey.     20 April 1966 -- Today's person of interest should definitely still be with us and not in his grave in Ontario. John Michael ARBOUR was the youngest of 6 childrenof Napoleon ARBOUR and Julia RIVEST. Very little isknown of John's life, except that he died before his father and motherand no parent ever wishes that. John died on 14 September 1997, and was buried in St Joachim Catholic Cemetery in Windsor, Ontario.

    SWEENEY, Lucy Marie -- In Loving Memory of Lucy Marie Sweeney (nee Arbour), 55 years, who passed away Saturday, 7 November 2009 at the Vale Inco Hospice. Beloved wife of Daniel Sweeney. Loving mother of 4 children, Tommy Carrey (predeceased 1980), Jennifer Carrey, Krysten Sweeney, and Darian Sweeney. Cherished daughter of André (predeceased 1997)and Madeleine (Parent) Arbour of Chelmsford. She is survived by two siblings: sister Patricia (Arbour) Svab (husband Josef) andbrother MarcelArbour (wife Anna), both of Windsor, Ontario. Loving aunt of Christina, Andy, Angie, Samantha, Donald, Lisa, Krista, Patrick, Ashley, Brandon, Miranda, Austin, Kyle and Curtis. She will be sorely missed as the grandmother (Mimi) of Jaxon Portelance. Lucy will undoubtedly be remembered for her determination and her will to live. Almost a year to the dayshe was diagnosed with lung cancer, and approximately 3 months after the date of her appointed life expectancy, she left peacefully. Wishing to maximize her time on earth, Lucy fought her disease tirelessly through radiation and chemotherapeutic treatment, through Intensive Care, and through the emotional realization of her looming departure. However, Lucy was able to achieve her primarygoal in life: to raise her children with the utmost care and to ensure their future success. She had a critical eye, a passion for meticulous work, an artistic flair and an unrivalled level of organization. Her talent for decorating and planning school and community functions was appreciated by many. She lived for her kids, her grandson, her husband and her many loyal pets (including Tango and Frodo). Always prepared to encourage or defend her family in any endeavours that they undertook, she truly deserves the title of number one fan. She was an amazing mother, a fantastic wife, and an inspiration to all those who have known her and have been touched by her long and arduous journey.     I would like to extend my sincerest condolences to the Sweeney family on the loss of their dear Lucy. I met Lucy throughmydaughter Jessica whowent to school with Darian and Krysten. Lucy was always involved in every school function and always had an incredible gleam in her eyes whenit came to her children. I'm sure they as well as many other children whom she helpedand mentored willmiss her.
