  Kennebec Journal (Augusta, ME) -- 17 Jun 1988 Augusta -- Loretta M. Arbour, 67, of 315 Northern Ave., died 15 June 1988, at Kennebec Valley Medical Center, Augusta Division, after a brief illness. She was born in Augusta, 4 Sep 1920, the daughter of Francois and Anna Lacasse Douin. Mrs.Arbour was a communicant of St Augustine Catholic Church; and had been employed by Bates Manufacturing Company, Edward Division, for many years. She is survived by her husband, Arthur R. Arbour of Augusta; a daughter, Gloria Shoemaker of Lewiston; two brothers, Phillippe Douin of Quincy, MA, and Benoit Douin of Augusta; a sister, Jeanne d'Arc Arbour of Augusta; two grandchildren; two aunts; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call today from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Plummer Funeral Home,16 Pleasant St., Augusta. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered Saturday at 11 am at St Augustine Catholic Church, Augusta. Burial will be in the family lot at St Augustine Cemetery, Townsend Road, Augusta.
