- On 07 Sep 1939, immediately following their wedding, Isabelle travelledback to the US with Sam via the port of Jackman, ME. They were headed for him home in Augusta, ME. Isabelle was noted to be 5'7" with a fair complexion, light brown hair, and brown eyes.

Augusta -- Isabelle Arbour, 96, died Thursday 24 Oct 2013 at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Augusta campus. She was born in St Prosper, Quebec, on 16 Feb 1917, a daughter of the late Albert and Delvina(Poulin) Rodrigue. Mrs. Arbour attended school inCanada and was a communicant of St Michael's Parish. She had been employed for 33 years at Bates Manufacturing, Edwards Division. Mrs. Arbour was a member of the Ladies of St Anne Society and the Cushnoc Senior Citizens. She was predeceased by herhusband, Anselme Arbour; a stepson, Gerard Arbour; a stepdaughter, JeanneD'Arc Daigle; five brothersand four sisters. Mrs. Arbour is survived by her daughter, Claudette Bridgers, and her husband, Ed, of Cape Coral,FL; a stepdaughter, Therese Gates, and her husband, Larry, of Athens, Texas; two sisters, Sister Marie Rodrigue, of Quebec, and Grace Laflamme, of Lewiston; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be nopublic visiting hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am Saturday 2 Nov at St Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Western Avenue, Augusta. Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery, Townsend Road, Augusta. In lieu of flowers, donations in Isabelle's memory maybe made to Ladies of St Anne Scholarship Fund, 17 Albert Ave., Augusta, ME 04330.
