  In 1940, Hector reported that he had earned $960 in 1939. ___ Kennebec Journal (Augusta, ME)-- 7 Mar 1967 HECTOR C. ARBOUR Augusta -- Hector C. Arbour, 66, of 41 Oxford St. died Monday morning at the Augusta General Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Joliet, QC, Canada, 6 Jan 1901, son of Barthelemi and CelinaBoisvert Arbour. Mr. Arbour was a communicant of St Augustine Catholic Church. He hadbeen employed by the Bates Manufacturing Company, Edwards Division, inthe spinning room, and later as custodian for the City of Augusta. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maria Gosselin Arbour of Augusta; three sons, Bertrand and Clement, both of Augusta, and Hector R., Middletown, CT; two daughters, Miss Christine Arbour of Augusta and Mrs. JacquelineFoley of Thomaston; five grandchildren; one brother, Edouard Arbour ofAugusta; one sister, Gabriel de l'Annonciation of Vallyfield, QC, Canada; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A high Mass of requiem will be sung Thursday morning at 9 from St Augustine Catholic Church. Spring burial will be in St Augustine Cemetery. ARBOUR, Hector C. -- Friends may call at the Plummer Funeral Home, Inc,16 Pleasant St., today and Wednesday.
