  Notes	Toronto Star (ON) -- 08 Dec 1945 ARBOUR-VERMOTE At a high nuptual mass in St Joseph's Church, Perkins, MI, 27 Nov, Mary J. Vermote, daughter of Henry Vermote, St Nicholas, became the bride of Leonard Arbour, son of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Arbour, Waubaushene, ON. At the altar, decorated withwhite and yellow mums and lighted tapers, the couple exchanged vows with Father A. C. Coignard officiating. Mrs. W. B. Moreau played wedding music. The bridewore a suit of forrest green wool with black accessories and corsage of white chrysanthemums. She carried a mother-of-pearl prayer book, and a pearl rosary, the groom's gift. Miss Martha Vandecaveye was maid of honor for her cousin. Alphonse Vermote, bride's brother, was best man. A wedding dinner was served in the church parlors and a supper was held in the evening. For the wedding trip the couple went to Waubaushene, Niagara Falls, Montreal, Quebec, and Dallas, Texas. The bride chose a travelling costume of black and white wool with matching accessories. Mr. and Mrs. Arbour will live in St Nicholas, MI.
