ARBOUR-VERMOTE
At a high nuptual mass in St Joseph's Church, Perkins, MI, 27 Nov, MaryJ. Vermote, daughter of Henry Vermote, St Nicholas, became the bride of Leonard Arbour, son of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Arbour, Waubaushene, ON. At the altar, decorated withwhite and yellow mums and lighted tapers, the couple exchanged vows with Father A. C. Coignard officiating. Mrs. W. B. Moreau played wedding music. The bridewore a suit of forrest greenwool with black accessories and corsage of white chrysanthemums. She carried a mother-of-pearl prayer book, and a pearl rosary, the groom's gift. Miss Martha Vandecaveye was maid of honor for her cousin. AlphonseVermote, bride's brother, was best man. A wedding dinner was served inthe church parlors and a supper was held in the evening. For the wedding trip the couple went to Waubaushene, Niagara Falls, Montreal, Quebec, and Dallas, Texas. The bride chose a travelling costume of black and white wool with matching accessories. Mr. and Mrs. Arbour will live in StNicholas, MI.
