Maughold Kath: Brew deptd this life about ye 20th of Janry 1673 intestat[e] whereof ye Church haveing Intelligence hath decreed her 3 sones Gilbrt, Wm and Tho: Corteen Adminrs of all her goods m[ov] =able, and unmovablewhatsoever who are at lawfull yearesan[?] A Legacie to ye husband upon sight of ye Invent: --------------------------------- Husband alive at time ofher death. MUST be wife of John Corteen who died 2/2/1687. This supported by the mention of AliceBrew in John's will. Alice may have been a relative of Kath's.
