Estelita M. Hurley 1950 - 2003
Chicopee -- Estelita M. Hurley, 53 of Cyran St., died Thursday, 2 Oct 2003 at home. Born inSpringfield, she attended Chicopee and South Hadleyschools and graduated from South Hadley High School in 1968. She also received an Associate's Degree from Holyoke Comm. College. She lived briefly in New Mexico until she returned toChicopee six years ago. She worked as a Quality Auditor for Thales Communications of Southwick for the past six years, and previously worked for the Digital Company. She liked golfing, photography, traveling and "enjoyed life". Estelita was the daughter of the late Richard & Stella (Huot) Hurley and the sisterof the late Richard Arbour. She is survived by her partner of 23 years, Sandra Maynard, two brothers, William Arbour of Chicopee and Russell Arbour of Cheyenne, Wyoming,two sisters, Elaine Stockton of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Claire Sampson of South Hadley, as well as many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Prayer Service was held 6 Oct at Ryder Funeral Home,33 Lamb St., South Hadley. Those attending the servicewere requested by the family to wear white clothing in keeping with their religious practices. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Estelita's memory to the American Cancer Society, 31 Capital Dr., W. Spfld., MA 01089 would be appreciated.
