    George Mitchell, fireman on the B & OSW, has resigned his position and has purchased the feed store of Joseph Arbour on Maple Street, WestSide. He took possession of the business Monday morning.

    NEW PRINTING FIRM
    Arbour and Brenan disposed of their printing shop at the corner of Second and Tiber Way Friday to Messrs. Samuel Blair and Jas. G. Goldsmith. The purchasers are printers of long experience and are skilled artisansin their profession. They were connected with the Register Office before making the purchase. They will undoubtedly receive generous patronage from theformer patrons of the establishment. It is rumored that S. A.Seipel will manage the affairs of the firm.

    Messrs. Goldsmith and Blair, who purchased the printing outfit of Arbour & Brenan, will take charge of the establishment Monday morning. The firm is to be known under the name of the Marietta Printing Co.

    According to the 1880 Census, the 1900 Census, and his WWI Draft Registration, Joseph was born in West Virginia. According to his marriage certificate and his death certificate,he was born in Marietta, OH.

    Joseph's WWI Draft Registration reported him as being of medium height with a stout build, blue eyes, and brown hair.

    Walter S. Edmund presented a silver pencil to J. B. Arbour, who will leave shortly for Columbus, on behalf of the club. Mr. Arbour thanked theclub members and said hewould still consider himself a member of the Sandusky club.

    Virginia Lee Phillips (nee Arbour), passed away peacefully 29 March 2013, in Belleair,FL, where she spent her winters. She was born in Sandusky and was married to the late Joseph Pschouff (Phillips) for more than 50 years. Ginny leaves behind a sonMark Phillips; daughters, Bonnie Miller Leitch (Bill) and Sara Paine (Randy) and will be greatly missed byher grandchildren Jonathan Miller (Katie), Christina Paine, and C.J. Paine and great grandchildren, Connor, Morgan, Aiden Miller and Alexis Lee Shea. In addition to her husband Joe, Ginny was predeceased by her great granddaughter Hope Miller. Ginny had anextensive career inthe travel business. She began as a flight attendantwith Capitol Airlines, opened and managed Bay Travel Center before opening and owning Fairview Travel Center. She was a charter member for more than 60 years of AmericanLegion Post 738 in FairviewPark. Ginny was a lovng wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. "Today is the day the Lord hath made, rejoice and be glad." Graveside services Saturday, 10 Aug, 11 am at SunsetMemorial Park.All are welcome. Friends are also invited to attend Memorial Lunch immediately following at the 100th Bomb Group Restaurant, 20920 Brookpark Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to the Suncoast Hospice, Clearwater, FL, Hospice of the Western Reserve, or American Legion Post 738.
