In 1920, Harry and Sadie along with their firstborn daughter lived in Baton Rouge at 306 Dufroco Street, where they rented a room from T. B. SMITH. Harry and Sadie eventually had five children, two daughters and three sons.

Harry married for a second time to Ouida and they had two children. After Harry's death, Ouida apparently remarried to a man named Ernest Valentine DUPLANTIS. When Ouida became sick with cancer, her granddaughter JoAnn DUPLANTIS, who actually called her "Mother," lovingly took care of her until the end.

In 1940, Harry reported that he had earned $2,200 in 1939.

According to the 1900 Census, Harry was born in Jan 1894. Harry may also have been born on 17 Dec 1893 in Baton Rouge, LA. He may have died on04 Jun 1952.
