'Composite' Photo Made Of Bandit
City police yesterday were continuing their search with the aidof a "composite" picture for the bandit who stole$500 from a clerk at the Holiday Liquor Store, 1745 Union St, last Saturday. The clerk, Mrs Mary E Arbour of 464 Olean St, described thegunman as a Negro, about six feet tall and weighing 185 pounds. She estimated his age as between 35 and 40andsaid he wore a black-and-white checkered cloth hat and dark clothing. An Identi-Kit composite pictureof the bandit, made by Investigator Frank Mauriello, has been circulated to area police agencies. Mrs Arboursaid the robbery was commited shortlybefore 10 pm by the bandit who came in, ordered a pint of whiskey, and handed her a five-dollar bill. Asshe rung up the sale, he ordered herto give him all the money in the register. Pointing a nickel-plated automatic weapon at her, he ordered her inot a back room. She said she stayed insdie for about two minutes and then re-entered the store to find no trace of the bandit.
