    KLOIBER, Edgar R. Edgar R. Kloiber age 95 of New Britain passed away Monday, (23 October 2006). Edgar was the husband of the late Veronica (Arbour) Kloiber. He was born in New York City son of thelate Rudolph and Margaret (Rau) Kloiber He attended local schools and graduated from NewBritain Senior High School in 1931, attended The University of Iowa where he played football for the Hawkeyes. The was the President and Owner of The New Britain Dry Cleaners and a Real-Estate Developer He was amember of The South Congregational Church and a Deacon there for more than 20 years and was on The Committee for The Erwin Home. He was active in many Civic organizations; he was a member of theNew Britain Lodge ofElks, Past Commander of The New Britain Power Squadron. A forty-year member of Shuttle Meadow Country Club, an Incorporator of New Britain General Hospital, a member of the West End Businessman'sAssociation. Edgar loved boating,golf and cruising and travel and his four-legged friendSachet his Doberman. Edgar leaves his devoted friend and 30 year companion Ann Margaret Anselmo of New Britain. One son Robert Kloiber and his wife AnnMarie of Tolland. Five grandchildren, Kristin Zelazik and herhusband Peter, Kimberly Albert and her husband Todd, Robert Kloiber, Steven Milkey and his wife Elizabeth and Kevin Milkey and his wife Jeanne. Four great grandchildren Zachary Zelazik, Evan Albert, Paige Albert and Jackson Milkey and several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews. Besides his wife Veronica he was predeceased by one daughter Patricia Milkey, one brother Woodrow Kloiber and two sisters LydiaSteinberg and Dorothy Kloiber. Funeral Services will be Thursday 26 October, at 11 am at the South Congregational Church, 90 Main Street, NewBritain. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the Kenney-Luddy Funeral Home 205 South Main St., New Britain, Wednesday 25 October,from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to theJerome Home Activity Fund, 975 Corbin Ave., New Britain CT 06052.
