Gardiner -- Georgette Angele Dutremble, 78, of Dresden Avenue, and formerly of Lafayette Street in Augusta, died Monday, 8 Dec 2008, at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Augusta campus, following a brief illness. She was born in Augusta on 3 Jan 1930, a daughter of the late Barthelemi and Marie (Gosselin) Arbour. Mrs. Dutremble was a graduate of Cony HighSchool and had attended St Augustine Catholic Church while she lived in Augusta. She had been employed by the state Department of Mental Health for 10 years. She had also been employed by Bob Chambers Ford and Kennebec Photo for many years. Georgette left a lasting impression on allthose she met. Her kind ways and gentleness will never be forgotten. Mrs. Dutremble was predeceased by herhusband, Gerard Dutremble; two brothers, Roger and Robert Arbour; and four sisters, Jeanne Harvey, Rita Harvey, Juliette Arbour, and Carmen Seavey. She is survived by her son, Dennis Dutremble, of Jefferson; her daughterand best friend, CharleneGamage and her husband, Gregory, of Jefferson; a sister, Gabrielle Bouchard, of Augusta; two grandchildren, Jeffrey and Kathryn Maschino; two stepgrandchildren, Travis and Megan Gamage; as well as several nieces andnephews. Visiting hours will be from6 to 8 pm Thursday, 11 Dec, at Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta. A Mass of Christian burialwill be celebrated at 9 am Friday, 12 Dec, at St Augustine Catholic Church, Northern Avenue, Augusta. Burial will be held in the spring inHolyFamily Cemetery, Townsend Road, Augusta. In lieu of flowers, donations in Georgette's name may be madeto the Renovation Fund at the Alzheimer's Care Center in Gardiner, c/o MaineGeneral Health Office of Philanthropy, PO Box 828, Waterville, ME04903.Condolences to the family may beexpressed via thefuneral home Web site at www.plum merfh.com.
