    ARBOUR, BEATRICE JOHNSON
    Died 9:30 pm Saturday, 29 Oct 1994, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 87, a native of Lottie and a resident of Plaquemine. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, 10 am to 1:45 pm Tuesday. Religious services at St Clement of RomeCatholic Church, Plaquemine, at 2 pmTuesday, conducted by Father Jerome Dugas. Entombment in Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum. Survived by three daughters, Gloria Dupont, Plaquemine, Juanita Arbour, New Orleans, and Jan Fleming, River Ridge; a son, J.Donald Arbour, Plaquemine; a sister, Daisy Boudreau, Lockport; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, George Donald Arbour; parents, Frank and Clelie Petit Johnson; and a brother, Earl Johnson Sr. Pallbearers will be grandsons.

    GLORIA ARBOUR DUPONT
    Surrounded by her family, Gloria Arbour Dupont passed away at her home on Wednesday, 30 May 2007. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she was born in Addis and lived the remainder of her life in Plaquemine. She was an extremely kind and caring person who will be painfully missed by her husband, J. Gerald Dupont Sr., with whom she shared her life since graduating from high school in 1943. She is survived by three children, Debbie and husband Ronnie Hebert, J.G. "Bubbie"Dupont Jr. and wife Jenny Wren, and Stacy and husband Anthony Vitale; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Juanita Arbour and Jan Fleming. She was preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice Johnson Arbourand George Donald Arbour; brother, Donald Arbour; and grandson, David Hebert. Pallbearers will be Daniel Hebert, Brady Sessums, Jade Dupont, Paul Marchand, Kevin Alexander, Nathan Vitale and Brad Stockwell. The family would like to thank Dr.Patrick Stagg and nurse Tara Acosta for their care and kindness. Memorial donations may be made to St Joseph Hospice, 8923 Bluebonnet Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70810, whose support was so appreciated. A special thanks to Robin Falcon,Cleo Dupardand Sylvia Bierria, all of whombrought so much comfort to our family. Visiting at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Plaquemine, on Friday, 1 June, from 10 am until service at noon.Burial in Grace Memorial Park.

    Died 5:05 pm Monday, 11 Sep 1995, at his residence in Plaquemine. He was 67 and a native of Plaquemine. He was a retired Iberville Trust and Savings Bank insurance manager, with more than 30 years ofservice, and aUS Army veteran of the Korean conflict. Visiting was held at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, 10 am to 1:15 pm Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial at St Clement of Rome Catholic Church at 1:30 pm Wednesday, celebrated by the Rev. Jerome Dugas. Burial in Grace MemorialPark. Survivedby two daughters, Lisa L. Arbour, Baton Rouge, and Nancy Carolyn Ross,Muscatine, Iowa; two sons, Scott S. Arbour, Zachary, and Donald Dean Arbour, Houston; three sisters, Gloria Dupont, Plaquemine, Juanita Arbour, New Orleans,and Jan Fleming, RiverRidge; six grandchildren, Henry Sanchez-Leal III, Baton Rouge, Adam, Jordan, and Ryland Arbour, all of Houston, and Jamie and Morgan Arbour, both of Zachary. Preceded in deathby wife, Geraldine Fisher Arbour; and parents, George and Beatrice Johnson Arbour. He was a member of Plaquemine Rotary Club and Elks Lodge No. 1398 of BPOE, Plaquemine.

    09 May 1928 -- Born in Plaquemine, Louisiana, Joseph Donald ARBOUR was the only son of auto mechanic George Donald ARBOUR and his wife Beatrice JOHNSON. Young Donald married 19-year old Geraldine FISHER in about 1948. They immediately began their family, which grew to include 4 children: Dean, Lisa, Scott, and Nancy. In the early 1950s, Donald answered his country's call to duty during the KoreanConflict. Shortly after this, he began a 30-year tenure at the Iberville Trust and Savings Bank asan insurance manager. Geraldine died in Plaquemine on 12 June 1991. Donald died there on 11 September 1995. Both of them were buried in the Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum in Plaquemine. At last count, Donald and Geraldine have 9grandchildren.
