    Vancouver -- Lillian M. Hillen died Friday, 20 March 1998, in San Antonio, Texas, while visiting her daughter. She was 71. Mrs. Hillen was born 30 Sep 1926, in Vancouver and graduated from Vancouver High School in1944. She attended Washington StateCollege. Mrs. Hillen returned to Vancouver 10 years ago. She was preceded in death by a son, Bruce, and her first husband, Don Vandervelden. Mrs. Hillen was a member of the Northwest Watercolor Association and First Church of Christ,Scientist. Survivors include her husband, Victor, at home; one daughter, Jill Vandervelden of San Antonio; two stepdaughters, Marylou O'Neil of San Diego and Gail Holt of Spokane; one son, Jeffrey of Eugene, OR; two stepsons, Arthur Hillen ofWindsor, Ontario, Canada, and Steven Hillen of Long Island, NY; two sisters, Shirley Knight and Eileen ONeil; one brother, Kenneth Arbour; two grandchildren; 18 step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and 14 step-great-grandchildren. There will be no service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Science Church, Canterbury Crest, or charity of donors choice.

    SHIRLEY ANN KNIGHT 28 July 1930 -- 6 January 2011
    Shirley Ann Knight of Vancouver, WA, a much loved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away 6 Jan 2011, at Portland Providence Hospital. She was born in Portland, OR, the second of four children of Carl and GraceArbour and graduated from VancouverHigh School. Shirley worked many years for C2F, a craft supply company, as a salesperson to the Fred Meyer Stores in the Northwest and Alaska, planning product displays and setting them up in the stores. Shirley enjoyed watercolor painting, playingbells in Columbia Presbyterian Church Bell Choir, camping, traveling,and motorcycle riding. Shirleyis survived by her husband of 61 years, Gary Knight; daughter, Catherine Knight of Kirkland, WA; sons, GeoffreyKnight of Eugene, OR, and GregoryKnight of Costa Mesa, CA; grandson, Ryan Waggoner of Kenmore, WA; and sister, Eileen O'Neil of Vancouver, WA. A Celebration of Life will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens on 5Feb 2011 at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybemadeto the Alzheimer's Association, MS Society, or the Columbia Presbyterian Church Bell Choir.     Obituary

    Kenneth C. Arbour died April 8, 2006 at the age of 73. He lived in Vancouver, WA all of his life. He is survived by long-time companion Joy Carlson and cat Memos; two children, Kimberlee Wilson and husband James, and Kevin Arbour and Lazette; two sisters, Shirley Knight and Eileen O'Neil; three grandchildren, Kristie Gange, Kathy Wilson and David Wilsonwith wife Barbara; two great-grandchildren, Donald Gange and Benjamin Gange. A memorial service will be held on Sat. April 22, 2006 at 11a.m.at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 13th and Franklin, Vancouver WA.
