Mrs. Rose McConnell and Mrs. George Wells of North Adams spent the weekend at the home of Mrs. McConnell's brother, Edward Arbour, in Mechanicville, NY.

Mrs. Rose (Arbour) Wells, 74, wife of George A. Wells, died at her homein North Adams, MA, this morning after a brief illness. Mrs. Wells wasborn in Canada but moved to Cohoes where she lived for several years before moving to North Adams about 19 years ago. Survivors include two brothers, Albert and John; a sister, Mrs. Eva Nadeau, all of North Pownal, VT; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will take place 9 amFriday at Sacred Heart Church, North Adams, and interment will be in Southview Cemetery, that city.
