Notes - In the 1881 Census, Mary Ann was a Servant working for Elizbeth E Richards at Bath Road Western House, Heston. In "The History of Heathrow" there is a photograph of a tudor timber framed thatched farmhouse half of which was occupied in 1935by MissHarbour and Miss Hickmott. These two ladies supported Heathrow Mission Hall. This may well be the lady Aunt Elsie remembers as having visited in 1917 in a pony & trap along with my mother Ivy Ethel. Although efforts have been madeto identify Miss Hickmott, the only one likely in the 1881 Census is a Jane Hickmott working as a servant for the family of Richardsons in London. In the 1901 Census she is living at 150 High Street, Heathrow.
