Notes - By the time of the 1900 Census, only 9 of George and Sophie's 10 children were still living. Who are the other children? Did they come to the US, too? It would figure that they did because George and Sophie had only been married for 17 years when they immigrated so their oldest childwas probably no more than 16- or 17-years old and too young to be leftin Canada.
According to the 1920 Census, George was born in New Hampshire, which we know to be an error, as the family didn't move to the US until the late 1850s at best and seemingly George himself didn't immigrate until 1872.
Is our Georges-Guillaume also known as William Louis ARBOUR? If so, he had the following children: John ARBOUR, b 1872 Worcester, MA; CarolineARBOUR, b 1874 Worcester, MA; and George ARBOUR, b 1878 Worcester, MA.
--> Even though other sources mention 1872 as the immigration date for this family, they all appear in the 1870 Census, living in Burlington, VT.
