  Medical Information: He was ill with septicemia for 1 week before his death, but had suffered with pancreatic cancer for some time before that.   Omer's WWI Draft Registration reported him as being of medium height and medium build with brown eyes and dark brown hair. He also noted himself asbeing "fisically disabled" with a sore back. In the 1930 Census, Leota's 79-year old, widowed father lived with them. In 1940, Omer reported that he had earned nothing in 1939.
