ARBOUR -- Mr. Wilfred (Wilf) Arbour, age 69 years, of 832 Newport Ave, passed away in Hamilton on Wednesday, 29 May1991. Wilf was born on 2 January 1922, in Port Arthur and has lived all of his life here. He was the son of the late Joseph and MarieArbour. He was a veteran of WWII, and upon his return, he worked first for the Postal Service and then forthe Roman Catholic School Board until his retirement at age 65. He wasa member of St Margaret's Roman Catholic Church and a former member ofthe Royal Canadian Legion Branch 5. His main interests were his family, travel, and fishing. Survivedby his wife Cecile;daughter Carol O'Hare, her husband Charles O'Hare, and grandchildren Michelle and Ryan; daughter Katherine Poirier, her husband Gaston Poirier, and grandchildren Celine and Lisa; daughter Diane Arbour; and sons Leonard andNorman and his wife KathySavinainen. He is also survived by his granddaughter VeldaKelly Zela, and great-granddaughter Jamie Lee; brothers Done, Reg, andGeorge, and sister Louise Breiland; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased byhisparents, his son Rick, his bestpal and grandson Jason, his brothers Ash and Homer, and dear cousin and friend Albert. Funeral services will be held on Monday, 3 June1991, leaving the Everest Funeral Chapel at 9:30 am for Funeral Mass at 10:00 am in St Margaret's Roman CatholicChurch, celebrated by Msgr. R. A. Carey, PH. Interment in St Andrew's Cemetery. Prayers will be offered on Sunday, 2 June 1991, at 2:00pm in the Everest Chapel. Visitation for Friends after 12:00 noonSunday.
