Prominent Lady of Plaquemine Dies -- Deceased Native of This City
There passed away at her home in Plaquemine on Wednesday, 20 Jun 1917, at 12:05 am, Blanche Arbour, wife of George F Danos, daughter of the late Octave R Arbour and Carrie Gayle. She leaves to mourn her devoted husband and daughter, Miss Carrie Danos, and five sisters, Mrs. N B Brownof Baker, Mrs J E Gaudin of Bayou Goula, and Mrs Will J Gibbens, Misses Sybil and Carrie Arbour of New Orleans, and a brother, Mr. Willie R Arbour of Lafouche. Services at Plaquemine, St John Church. Interment, Catholic Cemetery of Baton Rouge. Funeral from 11:30 ferry on 21 June.she had 2 children
