Donald K. Arbour, Sr., 90, of Watson, Louisiana went to heaven to meet our Lord and Savior on 10 January 2014. He was born in Baton Rouge to the late Clarence and Ida May Arbour on 18 August 1923. Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife of54 years, Ida Lee Thames Arbour. He was also preceded in death by seven sisters and three brothers, all of Baton Rouge. He is survived by two sons, Donald K. Arbour, Jr., and hiswife, Vicki Hancock Arbour; and Barry C. Arbour and hiswife, MicheleMalone Arbour. He had four grandchildren: Donna Lane and husband Chad, Vince Arbour and wife Kristy, April and Alison Arbour. Four great-grandchildren: Taylor and Chase Lane and Victoria and Garrett Arbour. He was also survivedby extended family members, IB and Betty Thames, of Pineville; Juanita Cowart, Beverely and Henrietta Thames, all of Watson, numerous nieces and nephews. Donald was a WWII Veteran and a retiree of Ideal Cement Company. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, DenhamSprings, on Monday, 13 January 2014 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation on Tuesday will be at St Alphonsus Catholic Church beginning at 9:15 am. Fr. Michael Moroney will celebrate a mass of Christian burial at10:00 am.
