ARBOUR, Edna Marie (nee Russell) -- After a courageous struggle with life-long health problems, at the age of 80, Edna passed away quietly surrounded by family members at St Joseph's Hospital on 25 March 2004. Loving wife of the late Sgt Bernie Arbour. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by sons Brian, Bernie (Joanne), Alan (Mersina), Ron (Dee), grandchildren David, Nicole, Yvonne, Bernie, Danielle, Smitty and Greg. Sister of Mary Burns, Helen Farrell, Dolores Kelly (Joe), RuthGillis (Joe),Leo (Dot), Jim (Shirley), Gord (Verna), Larry (Sue), sister-in-law Mary Russell, brother-in-law Stan Arbour (Ena). Aunt to many loving nieces and nephews. Beloved daughter of the late Peter and Ruth Russell. Predeceased by her brother Peter, sisterKaye, brothers-in-law John Burns, Bill Hilson, GerryFarrell, Ed Arbour, sisters-in-law Lavina Ward (Chris), Eva Leach (Claire), Bernadine Leach (Verd). We would like to express our appreciation to the nurses and staff ofthe Emergency Dept. and FourthFloor CTU at St Joseph's Hospital for their tremendous effort in keeping Mom comfortable. Also thanks to Dr. T. Packer, Sandra and Barb at Bayshore Healthcare for their loving care and compassion. She will be missed by all her friends at Sackville Senior Centre, Royal Canadian Legion163 Euchre Club, and the Elmirador Apartment Card Club. Visitation at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 796 Upper Gage Avenue, Hamilton on Sunday, 28 March, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.Vigil Prayers on Sunday at 2:30 pm. AFuneral Mass will be offered at Blessed Sacrament Rectory, 305 East 37th St., Hamilton on Monday, 29 March 2004 at 10:00 am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the CanadianLiver Foundation.
