Notes - Initially, the young family lived in Joliette City. However, by 1870, they moved further north to settle in Ste-Emelie-de-l'Energie, along with other family. They lived there through 1880. After thistime, though, they may have moved away, but it isunknown when or where.
Caroline and Elie had 11 children, five daughters and six sons. They also became godparents four times, once at St-Jean-de-Matha and thrice atSte-Emelie: niece Emilie ARBOUR in October 1862, nephew Charles LASALLE baptised in June 1871, as well asniece Vercheres ARBOUR and nephew Louis ARBOUR, both baptised in February 1878.
It is unknown exactly when or where Caroline and Elie passed away. Theyhad both passed away prior to the wedding of their daughter Georgiana in September 1897.
---> Note added on 16 May 2010: We finally found death info for Caroline and Elie! They had moved to Massachusetts at some point between May 1880 and Aug 1888, and died there.
