We were there visiting on Tuesday and the doctor said her body was shutting down, natural process for a 94 yr. old in her condition. Just heading to Chatham then Tecumseh to make arrangements for the funeral. We visited with Jean as well and she is progessing slowly. Ditched her walker and is driving again locally for short trips. Bob Arbour From OPPVA Bulletin dated 29 Aug 2009, sent by Bob: OBITUARY It is with deepest regret that we announce the passing of FRANCES ARBOUR who passed away on 27 Aug 2009. Mother of OPPVA President Bob Arbour,Frances Arbour, died peacefully at Meadow Park Nursing Home in Chathamin her 94th year. Predeceased by herhusband Sid (1997) and son Doug (2005), she is survived by her son Bob and his wife Liz of Burlington, daughter-in-law Jean Arbour of Chatham, grandson Rob and his wife Heather of Halifax, NS, and great-grandchildren Cheyenne and Melvin. Visitationwill be held at the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 TecumsehRd, Tecumseh, ON, on Sunday 30August 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral at Marcotte's on Monday 31 August 2009, at 11 am.
